Boutonnières & Corsages

Very similar in importance to the bridal bouquet, these "body flowers" help to recognize important members of the wedding party: like the GROOM, groomsmen, parents, other family members, special friends, ushers, readers, etc. You get the picture.

Boutonnières, worn on the left of a gentleman’s lapel, are the finishing touch to a man’s attire. Traditionally these have been a single flower with some greens. Now, they can be just about anything from exotic greens to clusters of berries and foliage. We would like to say the options are endless, but some restrictions do apply. We recommend talking with us about what you would like to use and the longevity of your request. We can then advise or make recommendations on alternatives, if your first choice isn’t going to hold up through the endless hugs and photo opts.

CoursageCorsages are the female counterpart to the boutonnière, again serving as an adornment. The corsage can be worn on the wrist or attached to the attire of the female honoree. In selecting which option you would like to offer, please consult the person to seek out their preference. We traditionally design each corsage to be used either way, just to protect against last minute decision changes.

Remember the days of giving or receiving the oversized holiday orchid corsage? Well, they still exist. But, there are also many more additional options to appeal to a wider audience.

Consider the body frame structure of the person who will wear the corsage. Are they a smaller frame? Are they tall? Are they allergic to anything? What color are they wearing? These are all questions that help us in guiding you toward the right floral piece for them.

Beyond the corsage, resurgence has occurred with the option of Tussie-Mussies (a Victorian Art of presentation). These tiny hand held floral bouquets, or nosegays, have been requested more and more from moms and grandmothers. Tussie-Mussies are traditionally presented in small decorative holders that serve as a perfect keepsake for individuals. Something to consider!
